1, 3, and 5-Day Juice Cleanses

Woot has categories call Home! Computers! Sport!

I would seriously like to see one called “Chump!”

There you would find all the “pro” audio gear that isn’t, the effortless exercisers, the pathetic cheap action cameras and the eternally despised memory cards and USB sticks.

Chump! with ad copy that just reads, “You have been warned!”

You’re being sassy but that would be awesome.

Are you having problems ordering or are you just curious about the ordering/delivery process?

Actually, I am looking for “chump” digital cameras that are the electronic equivalent of the cheesy 35mm fake SLR cameras offered with time-share pitches, etc.

There is ONE out there that looks like a DSLR and LOOKS like it has a big honking lens but is really a fixed focus non-zoom camera with a plain optical viewfinder. But I can only find it sold new on chump websites for $150. I’d rather buy the juice, as at least it would taste good!

A blender isn’t a juicer. A juicer extracts the water and the nutrients, and leaves behind the pulp. The pulp is insoluble fiber that slows down the absorption of nutrients.

A good juicer is going to run you about $150 bucks, and if you bargain shop you can buy the produce to juice for about $15 a day. But then you have to make the juice every day and prep all those fruits and vegetables and clean the juicer and your kitchen counters every time. It’s time consuming. A pre-prepared juice cleanse is sometimes the most economical and convenient option.

Can I just take a Juice bath?

Look, there’s toxins. Toxins. All the time. Every day.

You need to talk to the guys down at the lab. Those guys love questions. Hate toxins.

Flavored apple juices with one bottle of OJ. Go to the grocery store and buy some Juicy Juice instead.

Consider it a blessing in disguise for not wasting your money.

Let’s not forget that at the end of the week, you still own a $150 juicer…not 25 empty plastic bottles…

Just buy baby food, has the same consistency.

Fiber does not “slow down the absorption of nutrients”, at least not in a bad way. It does buffer the impact of the sugar, though, which is why whole fruit is better for you than just juice and has a lower glycemic index. Fiber is good for you.

And to reiterate, a “cleanse” is not a thing.

I was JUST about to buy this, but after talking to my sister the Registered Dietician, I have decided to wait for a bottle of Snake Oil to pop up instead.

Home Woot just so happens to have a juicer for sale today too.
Also, the serving size in the specs says it is 8 oz. So does that mean a 1 day “cleanse” is really a two day event?

Good points. One should not ingest apple seeds, a good reason to use a real juicer for apple juice.

Some guy in the Brevelle (sp?) juicer discussion practically wrote an article on juicers. I wish I had copied and pasted it somewhere for future reference.

Here’s retailing reality: These are “drop-shipped” from the maker. Woot (or any other online seller) does not have to stock or ship the product. They simply take their cut from each sale.

It fills space and as long as some people want the product, it all works out.

I used to sell my audiobooks for new computer users the same way on a national business talk radio network.

At least you have, not only an educated, but caring sister!

I have a number of serious health issues & saw one of the top specialist with so many degrees on her wall… dietician, pharmacist etc.

I did a 3 day meal diary for her and all she focused on was the mini snickers I had after intensive 30 mile cycling!

Then she starting going on about this product - I can’t remember if she was actually selling it or just recommending it - a LIVER cleanse! The thing is that this junk had like 20% alcohol as a delivery base as the first ingredient … NOT the best thing to prescribe to someone with a liver issue!

… and what I think most Snake Oil contained!
