Super Heavy Duty*
*Intended for low drain devices
Like buying a Super Heavy Duty pickup truck to only haul a case of potato chips.
Some people take their potato chips VERY seriously.
The term Super Heavy Duty (SHD) refers to the zinc chloride carbon zinc (CZn) chemical system which has largely replaced the LeClanche CZn “General Purpose” chemical system.
So not Alkaline batteries. These are for low drain devices.
Crap-o-la. These are worthless for use in today’s electronics. “Super Heavy Duty” my derrière!
When ever I buy large quantities I don’t use them quick enough so I stopped but seeing some comments I’m good.
These batteries are horrible !
They hardly last any time at all.
I use in my headphones and need to replace them constantly.
You get what you pay for !
I regret this purchase infinitely !
Yeah, Heavy Duty batteries aren’t for headphones. Your headphones probably require Alkaline batteries. See my post above for what Heavy Duty batteries are.
“Super heavy duty” is a historical term, like how “shortwave” or “high frequency” radio originally consisted of the shortest wavelengths and highest frequencies in use in early radio, but today most broadcasting is on much shorter wavelengths/higher frequencies. They were “super heavy duty” for the time they were invented, but science marches on. Now they’re just cheap to make.
This product is total garbage. Amazon should be embarrassed to stock this crap product. No matter what product you use them in you will be lucky they last a week . Woot- Amazon never mentioned they were for low battery products like clock radios. DO NOT BUY PRODUCTS LIKE THIS FROM AMAZON.
Oh.
Cool beans then.
