Even though this sold out I find it hard to consider buying a flat top gas grill because it feels too much like I’m cooking indoors on the kitchen stove griddle.

I see your point, what would recommend or using now? Just a regular grill?
This would be perfect for our cottage when we need to feed the entire extended family or several guests. We don’t want to heat the entire place up (or smoke it out) using the kitchen stove.
A gas or charcoal grill that allows you to cook under a direct flame.
