Back in my day, these were made out of wood & were sans handles.
Kids these days are too soft. Don’t they know broken fingers & butt slivers build character?!
And you had to ride them uphill both ways in snowstorms and tornadoes (at the same time) even though two of the wheels were broken and a third was stuck on with chewing gum?
Oh, the fingers that get run over. The memories.

My German teacher did not have finger issues. But she went sledding and merged with a tree. Tree was OK. She giggle often.
