False and misleading advertising and labeling. The last ingredient is Sucralose, an artificial sweetener. And it says it’s a drink with “no artificial sweeteners.” Caveat Emptor Wooters. Woot, what will you do about this issue?
Um…I see:
- No Sugar, No Sodium, No Preservatives
And also- No High Fructose Corn Syrup, No Aspartame
And I see:- No Artificial Flavors or Colors
No verbage about no artificial sweetners. .did I overlook that?
Got 'em. Who is the false advertiser now?
I agree with @therealjrn. I don’t see where it says no artificial sweetners. @xdorian, what will YOU do about this issue?
Correct. It states “No Artificial Flavors or Colors.” Are artificial sweeteners, such as Sucralose, not an Artificial Flavor?
It seems to me “Artificial Flavors or Colors” are a wider, even more encompassing category, which should certainly include Sucralose.
What will I do? I’m already doing it. I canceled my order and brought the issue up here. But if Woot doesn’t care to bring the issue up with the manufacturer, maybe I will. It might save them some regulatory fines or legal fees in the future.
Other thn the Sucralose and the misleading labeling, it seems like it could be a better energy drink thank most on the market.
What “seems to you” is probably not what the labeling rules state.
But everybody needs a reason to get up every day, more power to you Norma Rae.
Seriously, you may be onto something, keep us posted please.
