I am told by Samsung that I need the 4.2 version to work with my Smart TV Are these the 4.2 version?

There’s no info on Apple about which Bluetooth version these have, just that’s they come with “Industry-leading Class 1 Bluetooth for extended range and fewer dropouts”.
