This is a great price for a great burner. I have this same model, bought on the Mothership about 1.5 years ago for $70, which itself is a good price. I use it for brewing beer in a 15 gallon Spike kettle, and it’s worked flawlessly. It’s rock solid, very stable. Takes maybe 15-20 minutes to get to mash temps, and about the same to a boil. It’s very quiet too, much quieter than jet-style burners. I normally brew alone but last weekend I let a member borrow mine for a club brew day, and normal conversation volume was enough to drown out the sound. We actually stopped a couple times to make sure it was still lit. It’s quiet!
There is a 200 or 250k BTU version of this burner that I was considering, but I’m glad I went with this one. I would’ve just burned more gas for negligible gain.
