(NEW) Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14" HD Win11 Laptop

(NEW) Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14" HD Win11 Laptop

I see that there are 2 of these listed, both at the same price. The only difference I can see is one has Intel pentium and the other pentium silver. What’s the difference between the 2 CPUs? Anything major that makes one a better deal than the other?

From what I can tell, they are the same except for the model number. One is 81V6001DUS and the other is 82V6001DUS. Both have the same processor, same system memory, same storage, same screen – and as alluded, the same price.

Edit: See @ng1404’s better breakdown below.

(Note that I am not staff. I just volunteer to help out on the forums.)

Laptop #2 is 82V6001DUS, part of “IdeaPad 1 14IGL7” product line, which replaces the 14IGL05 model line above

Compared to Laptop #2, Laptop #1 is:

  • release 7 months earlier (no big deal)

  • worse webcam
  • smaller battery
  • 0.7" taller, 0.22 lb heavier

  • 2x USB-A 3.2 vs. 1x USB-A 3.2, 1x USB-C 3.2, 1x USB 2.0

Neither is my cup of cake, I prefer FHD+ screen and 8+GB RAM.
