This device sounds like black magic.
I have one of these. It doesn’t do anything, even when the weather changes from 70 and sun to 27 and snow within 12hrs, it still doesn’t change.
You have to shake it.
One of its only possible external inputs is going to be changes in ambient temperature… I’m pretty sure this bulb is completely sealed; not clear how it could detect-and-respond-to changes in air pressure. So, keep it on your porch, not under an AC vent, to unmask the crystallization changes associated with weather transitions…
But how else would you know if your AC failed? 
For external use only…
Oh if you try to use it for internal reasons then there’s definitely a storm brewing
