Ordered 2 boxes, each with 29 for a total of 40 bars.
Package arrived on April 27, 2023 with BOTH boxes of chocolates’ EXPIRATION dates as May 05, 2023!!! (7 days later?)
That is what the sale stated.
Can we revisit this statement?
A “Best if Used By/Before” date indicates when a product will be of best flavor or quality. It is not a purchase or safety date.
A “Sell-By” date tells the store how long to display the product for sale for inventory management. It is not a safety date.
A “Use-By" date is the last date recommended for the use of the product while at peak quality. It is not a safety date except for when used on infant formula.
A “Freeze-By” date indicates when a product should be frozen to maintain peak quality. It is not a purchase or safety date.
Looks like someone accidentally tapped “9” instead of “0” which makes sense since they are right next to each other.
Unless they were alternately warping between this universe and the one in which base 17 is the counting standard…
Arrived last week. Box was mashed and bars were spilling out but everything inside was fine. Chocolate is delicious.
Solid deal.
Or they are using Woot math…
