Tough to get excited about this deal. About the same wattage reduction as CFL for three times the cost. What am I missing?

Edit: it’s dimmable, which changes the cost ratio, but still seems like a lot of money.

Absolutely agree with you. Expensive but it is dimmable so that has got to be worth it to someone. I’m not in.

Being an LED it will last like 40 years without being replaced. My CFL’s seem to blow with the same frequency as incandescents and also it takes several minutes for CFL’s to “warm up” to full brightness. LED’s are instant on.
