I purchase these the last time they were on sale. One had a very low battery and would not measure temperature. The other one would not turn on at all. The price was not even low.
Stuff like these should not be sold.
Did you try replacing the batteries?
They are cheap thermometers and aren’t made to last or high enough quality for super accurate readings for like basal needs or babies
