Does this work like foundation?
In my opinion, it does, but Iâd say itâs more a light-medium coverage if using one application, but you can build/layer the coverage. I also apply it with a sponge, I think if you use your fingers it tends to be a slightly heavier application. The brands â3D skin flexâ feature claims it wonât settle into wrinkles/fine lines is false, thatâs just a hype advert tactic. I have tried MANY foundation brands, and they ALL settle into wrinkles/fine lines.
They make this same product in a non-illuminating option, which is the kind Iâve used, and I do like it. However, I find in the non-illuminating option the âfair lightâ color is darker on the skin than it appears to be when in the tube. If I try the lighter than âfair lightâ shades, theyâre too light for my complexion so I either deal with the âfair lightâ color (which I manage by making my application as sheer as possible) or start mixing shades to get the perfect one or just not use the brand. All said though I think itâs a good foundation, and while Iâve tried many different foundation brands, this brand is one I always come back to. Itâs SPF is a solid plus for me since I am so fair skinned.
