2" or 3" Gel Enhanced Topper-6 Sizes

Not at all! I’ve had the same uncomfortable mattress for years and I really have no idea what I want… why? How could I possibly know what I want/need when I only have experience sleeping on what I have now? This is why I need guidance from an expert.

• I am not overweight.
• I am not a large person.
• I am not disabled in any way.
• I am not elderly.
• I am active and fit.
• My lower back will sometimes hurt if I sleep on my stomach.

My present mattress was supposed to be “firm” but I cannot say if it failed or if I should not have purchased “firm” in the first place.

It’s a very plush top (spring style) Thomasville brand king size mattress, but I can still feel pressure points like on my hip when I’m on my side.

Sleep is terrible and toss all night. The mattress is failing and should be replaced but I’m thinking a topper will help me squeeze more time without spending a fortune.

When I say it’s failing, I mean that there are slight depressions where I sleep… less than 1", and it’s been flipped and rotated many times.

It does sound like you need a new mattress, but have you tried removing the pillowtop? I personally had a ton of back issues with a pillowtop as I felt it was a very uneven surface. We’ve had some customers say they were able to remove the pillowtop without damaging the main surface of the mattress, it just depends on the construction. Then you could use a 2" topper just to give you some comfort, if you sleep primarily on your stomach I suggest the 2" in this situation. Either way I’d recommend a 2" topper as an interim solution. I was considering buying one of these. But after the China-bashing: no.

There are ways to praise your product, and to celebrate it being made in the United States, without negative statements about another country or their products. There is nothing inherently wrong with Chinese products or Chinese manufacturing. That some US-based companies choose to import low-quality (and sometimes even dangerous) products from China is a choice by those US companies.

If you walked into a diner and ordered runny eggs, would you write the diner a bad review, saying they sold runny eggs?!

(PS: If a cover would keep “good foam” from breathing, then so would sheets. Or our bodies. Foam doesn’t “breathe” and air doesn’t magically spontaneously circulate through this thing any more than it does through one’s regular mattress. You use a cover to protect the foam from getting too dirty, as it is not machine washable. Duh.)

What are you? Some kind of jerk that dreams of being offended so that you can carry around the banner of righteous indignation? I try to buy American made so that my fellow countrymen can have jobs and support their families and won’t have their hands in my pocket.

This comes in a fairly small box, it is fully compressed and takes about 3 hours to unfold on its own. Shift it where you want it to go as it unfolds, it is a little ungainly when it is undone.

I did not have any of the wierd chemical smell some people complained about.

My husband and I are both bigger, the 2" was fine. My kids are tiny, 5&4yo, very thin, and they also prefer it to their mattresses.

My mattress was always hot, I would wake up drenched some mornings, this topper is much cooler.

This is like sleeping on the comfiest marshmallow you can imagine. I would recommend to everyone. Even the cat likes it better.

Buying twin ones for the kids today - keep them out of my bed.

Purasleep - They won’t get out of my bed! They clearly love it.

I wanted to add, I used to have pressure point problems, and would toss and turn most of the night. I sleep infinitely better now.

Other than an added inch of plush comfort, it’s really about personal preference. Some people find that a thicker topper provides a little more support. I hope this is helpful.

I am with the manufacturer and can help answer questions. Many of the target and costco items are much cheaper and lower quality imported chinese foam. Hence the lower price. The cover really isn’t necessary as it will just prevent good foam from breathing, ciculating air and keeping you cool. PuraSleep memory foam is 100% USA made

Bashing your competition isn’t exactly the way to win business. Costco sells the Novaform brand (which I own myself and LOVE), which is made in the USA. All of the brands of gel memory foam toppers that Target sells are ALSO made in the USA. Your product should be able to stand on its own without having to put down the competition with misinformation.

Again no one is bashing the competition and certainly not bashing Target and Costco. In fact the foam we manufacture goes into some of their US made products.

With an adjustable bed platform, I am afraid the typical 12" gel foam mattresses are too thick to be flexible. I’m just trying to gauge the correct one to buy.
