Do not buy these! Above are the pics of what their website shows the fruit should look like and the other is what I received!
Honestly, that’s what a lot of dried fruits look like when they aren’t sulfur dioxide treated. It’s oxidation. The things to look out for are overly hard/soft, stickiness, a musty smell or mold.
These are rock hard have no apricot smell and unless these were sun dried in the land of the pharaohs they are mummified not sun dried - sorry they got tossed after opening 2 bags. Not worth $30 to even consider tasting one.
If someone else has gotten and enjoyed these please let me know. I’ll be the 1st one to say I was wrong!
Update: so upon googling images it looks like I WAS WRONG and and there actually were pics of some (being generous here) that looked almost as bad. Nevertheless they’re staying in the trash. I would be too afraid to donate.
