under “standings,” what does the number in parentheses after the champeen pick for each person mean? it doesn’t match “best score”

I think it’s what you picked for the combined score for the championship game. It’s used to break a tie.

just the best scores alone won’t tell me if someone is out of the running to win.
just to pick on somebody at random … lucretius’s best score possible is 126. suppose lucretius gets the rest of the possible picks rite and gets 126. that doesn’t tell me how pooflady scored in that scenario. pooflady may score higher than 126; pooflady may score lower. if pooflady scores higher than lucretius in every remaining scenario then lucretius is already out of the running.
Sorry. This is off of CBS, so it’s the best I can do. According to your scenario, no one (nobody) is out of the running.
i thought there mite be somebody out of the running, we just don’t know b/c we are too lazy to go through each possible scenario and figger out everybody’s score in each. but a computer could do it. ought to be able to do it. if cbs programmed it to figger it out.
