Here’s the deal. These probably work better in the summer when you have enough light to charge them up. In the winter when I used these, they would light up every other day or so. Also, they aren’t bright, which can be ok, but the weird thing was the first 20-25% of the string was brighter than the rest of the string. That really wasn’t a design effect I was looking for.
So, doesn’t light every day (or really even every other day) in the winter and they aren’t really visible when you look at them from down the street.
