5 to 7 year lifespan. Thats the best info I could find. Not as long as the lithium battery operated ones.

These displays do not rotate so if your outlet is horizontal the display will always look sideways… unless your outlet is vertical, then it’s fine.

I saw no mention of UL certification. This unit is not included in Consumer Reports ratings of Carbon Monoxide detectors. (Consumer Reports makes ratings of Carbon Monoxide detectors, Smoke Detectors, Car Seats and other safety equipment available free to everyone without requiring a subscription.)

AI Overview

Carbon monoxide detectors typically have a lifespan of 5 to 7 years. It’s crucial to replace them before this timeframe to ensure they continue to function correctly and provide accurate readings. You can find the manufacturing date on the back of the detector, and some may have a “replace by” date listed.

So the $89.99 reference price Woot shows is BS. Didn’t need a 3 in 1 detector to sniff that one out.

Another thing, temp and humidity sensor is on the back so it will be right against the wall… not sure how accurate it would be.
