5 to 7 year lifespan. Thats the best info I could find. Not as long as the lithium battery operated ones.
These displays do not rotate so if your outlet is horizontal the display will always look sideways… unless your outlet is vertical, then it’s fine.

Safety items, or anything that can burn your house down, vitamins, supplements,etc.
I bought a no-name vitamin once, dang near killed me with one dose. Learn from my mistake.
Another thing, temp and humidity sensor is on the back so it will be right against the wall… not sure how accurate it would be.
