I have one of these that I purchased back in November, at first I had an issue when it was on the dual head setting because the pressure was so weak. I read through some comments on Woot! and found that you can remove the flow restrictors in each shower head, they are white plastic circles with 3 little holes in them. Having done that, I now get more water than I ever dreamed of and haven’t had any other issues with pressure.
Also, recently I moved to an older house and brought this shower head with me and still have no problems with low pressure. I would put this product in my top 5 Woot! purchases.
I’ll echo what some others said about the “30 settings” - not quite sure how to get to that, but otherwise this is a great shower combo. You can use either or both shower heads at the same time, you can use the top shower head as a hand-held, and the mist setting is cool for a change of pace. (I have not had the experience that mist becomes cool no matter how hot I set it).
Kids and adults both liked it. However, water pressure does get somewhat low if you use both shower heads at the same time. That said, I have not removed the flow inhibitor yet.
Bought this last time it was offered. What appears to be metal is actually plastic. Ours hasn’t broken yet, but we assume it will soon.
My biggest frustration with this is that the hose isn’t very long. We were hoping to use it to wash our little dogs but if they go to the back part of the tub, we can’t reach them with the hose. (I guess our dogs would give it two paws up.)
I installed this for my girlfriend it was pretty easy. I did not like how it is made out of all plastic. I feel like it is just a matter of time before it starts to leak or breaks.
I’ve been using this same model for about 4 months now and have had no issues. Some complain that the water pressure is to low and have resorted to pulling out the flow restrictor. The problem with doing this is you will use up your hot water much faster. If you drill an 1/8" hole through the restrictor instead you will get a significant increase in pressure but will use far less water.
It does feel a bit to much like plastic, but it also didn’t cost 90 bucks. The hose for the wand is metal so it hangs nice and doesn’t coil up like the plastic does. Probably going to get one for the guest bath.
Woot has had two very similar offerings of this dual-shower head - one with mist and one without the mist option. Based on the specs page the current Woot does NOT have a mist option. Here’s the link to the woot for the 24-setting model that had the mist function - http://home.woot.com/offers/total-spa-24-setting-combo-showerhead-1
Saying this is low quality garbage is a compliment. This is actually total crap.
The whole water router component is made of cheap plastic which promptly cracked as I was screwing it onto the plumbing. I wasn’t even putting much force on it, just making sure it wasn’t leaking. Now, I don’t mind if the heads are made of plastic, but the components that screw onto plumbing outlets should be metal so you get a solid leak-free connection.
