This cooktop seems to be unsure of its ability to heat aluminum.
You need pots and pans rated specifically FOR induction.
Most stainless steel pans work.
Cast iron works great!

I cooked on a restaurant type 6 burner GAS range for 25 years in the firehouse… and I wouldn’t go back to gas, after having an induction cooktop!
It’s infinitely adjustable\precise and you don’t have to disassemble the whole thing to get it clean, after just frying an egg ![]()

I think Mr. 14 is referring to the picture that shows that the stove is not good for aluminum but will work for aluminum cookware.
Remember, it must be able to be “adsorbed” by a magnet.
