I was initially tempted, but I think I’ll hold off. The description says YouTube will stream on the projector, but reviews specifically say YouTube is blocked. I suspect that means Prime Video and some of the other streaming services may also be blacked from projection. The reviews also stress that a darkened or dim room is key.
I see quite a few TikTok videos on the Youtube issue. There might be a workaround.
The item description needs to be accurate and not misleading. Period.
Unfortunately, many of these projectors have similar issues, especially cheaper ones, due to DRM (Digital Rights Management) restrictions like HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection), which block copyrighted content from being played over unauthorized, non-certified, or mirrored connections.
For $39, what do you expect? But what was misleading? As soon as I seen the price tag, I knew there had to be a gotcha. Consumers should be more informed before making their purchase IMO.

The description says you can watch Youtube with the projector, which is a false and misleading statement, according to the reviews. I expect Woot to not commit fraud to make a sale. So does the law.
Agreed, it’s common with projectors, even high end ones. My problem is with Woot specifically saying Youtube works with the projector, when clearly there’s a problem.
Woot is posting the manufacturer’s information. You’ll need to address your concerns with the manufacturer of the product making the claim, not the retailer.
(Please Note: I’m not employed by Woot, but I volunteer to help in the forums.)
Hello. we had no way of knowing that an update somewhere messed with Youtube on this projector. Woot customer service is available to help you return for a full refund.
I just got mine out of the box and it’s completely dead. Tried different outlets…reversed the power adapter cable no life. The remote works because I can see the red light when I press a button. Another Woot failure. Now I have to deal with the hassle of returning.
