Nice one Simic. I like how you spell out USA, Mexico and Canada for the geographically challenged.

I had “North America” too but took it off.

Love the contrast. Great little characters.

As a resident of a desert state, I really love that we get the Dune Sandworm for our monster <3

What is the monster in Michigan?

Can we get a legend for the map? lol

That is actually the sandworm from Tremors. But, they do look the same

That’s the Loveland (Ohio) Frogman… but I imagine they move around.

You got it!

(Warning: Creatures jut out of the state borders and are featured purely for aesthetic reasons.)
California: Bigfoot and Tessie
British Columbia: Ogopogo
Montana: Shunka Warakin (direwolf)
Nevada: Sandworm from Tremors
New Mexico: UFO/Alien
Texas/Mexico: Chupacabra
Gulf of Mexico: Oil-spill Monster (some monsters are real!)
Louisiana: Goatman
Florida: Swamp Ape (who’s being grabbed by…)
Bermuda Triangle: Kraken
West Virginia/South Carolina: Mothman
New Jersey/PA: Jersey Devil
Michigan/Ohio: Frogman
Missouri: Thunderbird & Cow
New England: A Witch & Demons
Quebec: Wendigo
Ontario: Sasquatch

The biggest problem that I came across was that most of the monsters were just spin-offs of Bigfoot and Nessie. Or they were all clustered in the North East, while the rest of the map was empty. So, I had to improvise to make it more interesting.

There is a little mother-in-law in all of them.
