Idk why but conditioner makes my hair greasier faster
but I need it or my hair is dry as straw
My former stylist sister-in-law turned me on to Innersense, it’s pretty light and clean, but it’s a $30 a bottle. Still, I say it’s worth it for how long it lasts me
I should probably just chop my hair off.
It’s like a yardstick long.
I’m trying to grow mine out. Middle of the summer probably wasn’t the best time to do this.
Same!! I’m trying to blame it on breastfeeding (bc I can’t use a lot of things in my hair) but then I realize, its always been this way lol.
I used to joke with my teens that I don’t use certain conditioners because I didn’t want to look like Antonio Banderas in the mask of Zorro ![]()

Conditioner should always be applied for the ends up, never at the roots. Wrap it up in a bun and let it sit as you wash your body. Rinse starting at the roots, but don’t rinse it out completely from the ends. You still want to be able to feel the softness of it. If you can, rinse with the coldest water you can tolerate to seal the cuticle and improve shine.
Rule of thumb is wash the roots, condition the ends.
Same. My hair is past my shoulders but I’ve been wearing it up to let my neck feel the barely there breeze.
