It’s a good deal in terms of price. But the Style & Sport are now two years old, with considerably less range than the Pro or even the Mate, and these do NOT have replaceable batteries, so when they die in roughly a year, they’re dead!
A buck less at the mothership. Also, the login CAPTCHA isn’t currently working and that prevented me from logging into woot from a new browser. Annoying.
I was just looking into these last week and honestly, it’s just worth it to spend the extra few bucks and get the newer versions with replaceable batteries.
Does anyone know if these come “active?” I really only have use for two and I’m wondering if I keep the other two boxed up if they will be ready to go when the first two die. Yes, I know the batteries naturally lose some strength over time…
I bought 4 tiles a little over a year ago and NONE of them worked and got ZERO support. By not working I mean my phone could NOT find any of the 4 tiles in the SAME room. GOOD LUCK
