So these are typically decent machines, however if you buy them, just make sure to check these simple things, as they will dictate if you will need to do a part swap/repair later:
- Power supply. Typically what’s listed is in the middle of what’s really in the box, you could have a higher or lower wattage. If it’s higher than what’s written, you don’t need to swap.
- Fans. Sometimes the fans aren’t powered properly, check the cables to make sure they’re in.
- RAM. You should just upgrade this anyways. The sticks that come in by default suck. They’re usable but they are small capacity wise and are kinda crappy.
- The HDD. Sometimes this isn’t completely screwed in to the mount, just make sure it is. The HDD is a toss up, sometimes you’ll get a really good one or you’ll have an offbrand that you should swap later.
