It would be nice if the gauge of the vinyl was ever quoted on any of these, as there is another whale very much like this in size (actually wider and probably more stable for little kids) that sells every day for about $7 at several places (oddly that brand is $13 at Amazon). With as quickly as kids puncture most pool toys, I’d have to go with the cheaper one.
