Spyderco Delica 4 Desert Camo Zome

Spyderco Delica 4 Desert Camo Zome

It’s hard to find deals on Spyderco knives because of their minimum advertised pricing (MAP) agreement with their dealers. There are also many counterfeits out there, so most deals that seem too good to be true, are. If you see a Spyderco significantly below market value, it’s often a fake.

This zome camo version is a distributer exclusive color that probably didn’t sell well and they are clearing it out. Clearance models aren’t held to MAP.

This is a good price if you like the zome pattern. Current MAP for a vg10/frn delica is $78, so it’s unlikely to find one cheaper than this without a site/store wide sale or a coupon.

The knife itself has been around forever for a reason. Excellent ergonomics are a Spyderco standard and this particular model has a very thinly ground blade that cuts like a laser. VG 10 is a quality steel at this price, very stain resistant and will hold an edge for quite a while. Fiberglass reinforced nylon handles feel like plastic, but the texture is grippy, they’re very light and nearly impossible to break. The spoon clip does it’s job well without any drama; stiff enough to hold, loose enough to go into pocket easily. Solid pocket knife all around.

This is a great price for a Spyderco Delica, especially one that has VG-10 steel. The VG-10 is rated at a higher hardness and corrosion resistance than many of their other steels.

EXCELLENT summary of this knife. Thank you Dave! Just sorry I missed out on it… but glad I was able to get the Woot deal on the same Zome-finished Endura.
