I was bummed that I missed this for $13, but then I saw that it was 3CR13MOV steel… No longer bummed. Guess one would be good for practicing sharpening on, since you’ll be doing that constantly if you cut with it.

Is the price delta between 3CR13 and a decent formula like 8CR13 or 9CR13 really that much?

This is $9.99 today on Woot. I am just browsing previous threads.

This is 420 steel instead of 3CR13. Not much of a difference, but worth mentioning.

For $10, it’s a good knife to practice sharpening on.
