My son got me one of these subs for xmas last year. It’s a nice speaker, well made and pretty hefty, it adds to the bottom end. I’m using it with one of the first gen echo’s. It only comes on with Pandora or Amazon Music (possibly other music apps but those are the only ones I use) it will not come on with say flash briefing or anything non musical. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. I have problems with it not turning off when you ask the music to stop. You will get bass from the music sometimes after it turned off on the echo it’s paired with. If you have more than one Wifi SSID in the house they will need to be on the same SSID. I have a few main and guest signals at 5 and 2.4 GHz SSID’s Randomly one of the devices will switch and while they both say they are “On Line” they will not work together.
