800x480 is a high resolution display?
This unit has “smart connect” which appears to be Philips’ implementation of MirrorLink. If your phone is compatible, it’s kind of like a poor man’s Android Auto, although generally you can run any app on it. You need an external interface to use it, but it’s not too expensive (you don’t need to get it from Philips).
In the third picture, what is the guy doing with his right hand. She sure looks happy!

That small of a display at that distance I guarantee that you could not tell much between their stated resolution and HD/FHD/UHD or otherwise. Marketers sure have made gullible consumers out of some people, LOL!
