Does the serial number begin with A, B, or Z? Trying to determine which version this is.

What is the difference between generations?
Picture says controls up to 30 devices, text copy says up to 6 ceiling fans. Is it 6 ceiling fans and 24 other devices or 6 devices total or 30 devices total??
Don’t know the difference between generations, you’ll have to google that. The 6-ceiling fans is included in the 30 devices. So 6 fans + 24 Echo Dots… i mean devices.
