Are these 500 TC single ply? Or is it more like 125 TC, but counting each 4 ply thread as a separate thread?

Well, lack of California King as a size has made my decision-making process much simpler!

Two weeks ago Walmart and many other retailers removed from shelves “Egyptian” cotton sheets because the Indian and other non-Egyptian suppliers could not assure that the product was made of Egyptian cotton. These sheets are manufactured in Pakistan. Are they really made of high quality Egyptian cotton?

Are they DEEP POCKET?

According to the handy dandy write up which appears on the page:

“Fits up to an 18 inch mattress”

Not sure if that is deep enough for you, but just by looking at the dimensions given for the bottom sheet, I can guarantee you’ll pull your fingers off if you try to put it on a mattress any thicker.

According to one of the two reviews on Amazon,the pillowcases are so sheer that you can see the pattern of the pillows through them. A thought to consider.

Hello and thank you for the excellent question. Our sheet sets are made of high quality Egyptian cotton. We buy or import Egyptian Cotton from the Egyptian Cotton Association Certified supplier.
The sheet sets are made in Pakistan and NOT from India where all the problems occurred.

What happened to Walmart and other large retailers is that they were importing from suppliers in India who were importing CVC sheets and labeling the Egyptian Cotton and Pima Cotton. They got sue by the USA custom department because when the USA custom dept test the goods, they found cvc not cotton.

Our sheets have been tested and are 100% Cotton and reassured by our supplier that they are indeed Egyptian Cotton. You will not be dissapointed by our sheets, they’re extremely comfortable and great quality.

Got to Target.com and search for “Threshold Ultra Soft 300 Thread Count Fitted Sheet”, then you can purchase single Twin XL fitted sheets ($12) and King flat sheets ($15). You get a Split King set for $39 (less the pillow cases), and these are great sheets to boot.
100% cotton and a great feel, do not let the thread count fool you.

What weave are these?
