Used these on my hip replacement incision and if I left it on for a long enough period of time, it did help to bring the depth of the incision up and noticeably cut down on the visibility. I had not used this on the other hip and that incision is noticeably deeper and more visible. And it apparently works on scars that aren’t extremely recent because I started using it on that first hip probably 5-6 months after my surgery.
Trick is to leave it on as long as possible per day (take off to shower). You can also wash them off and reuse them for a week easily (some people say 2 weeks)…Just use regular soap, not soap with a lot of moisturizers.
