AT&T One-Line Corded Speakerphone

AT&T One-Line Corded Speakerphone

Is this some sort of Apple knockoff?

Why does it have a tail?

HaHaHaHaHa!

How does one install this? Does it Bluetooth-connect to a smartphone, or perhaps via a WiFi hotspot?

I found this. Maybe this helps?

Thanks! (I realize you must take such queries seriously on the off chance they might be serious.)

Yeah. Without the /s tag, I kinda have to. I thought it was silly but…

I’ll strive to include the /s tag next time! Not that sarcasm ever happens on Woot.

In case any body didn’t notice
This is a POTS telephone (plain old telephone service)
There is no answering machine built in.
Your telephone service provider may have voice mail service. You call them for your voice mail.

I bought this in May 2020. It stopped working in July. I have unplugged the cord from the back of the phone, unplugged the connection to the line, unplugged the entire phone. I’ve done everything you do to reset this phone and the only thing I get is “Line is in USE.” When I call the number, it’s busy. I bought it for my mom who needs a landline in case she loses her mobile. This phone is unreliable. For $10, I’ll just throw it away.
