Received mine yesterday. Sending a request for return.
The laptop battery will not charge. After arrival at approximately 5pm CT, I attempted to turn it on. Since it would not, I assumed the battery had completely drained. I charged it overnight, turned it on the next morning with the AC plugged in and proceeded to run Windows. Afterwards, I unplugged the device to work in a different location and attempted to turn it on. It did not power on. After several attempts at running the laptop, I realized that it would only turn on when plugged in.

I ran the HP diagnostic tool and received this error message:
The battery is reporting a failure and needs to be replaced as soon as possible.
