I think I’m missing something - I don’t see any metal cutting edge on that spiral “cutter thing”, and most potatoes I remember (unless they’re cooked a bit first?) aren’t going to “give in” that easily (to the “cutter” or to the “screw it in” part that spaces out the spiral cut).
At least the part holding the potato steady is on the opposite end from the wire “handle”, and the threaded thing moves away from that handle (counter-clockwise when looking down at the potato, so the threaded part pulls the cutter INTO the potato), so you can easily take the plastic pieces off the wire to FRY the potato.
That little yellow thing is the slicer.
So this thing is 8.99 on Amazon. Hmm… hard pass.
