$30.59 - I can’t find anywhere for $129
That’s just the manufacturer’s suggested retail price. Manufacturers always seem to have an over-inflated sense of what their products are worth, don’t they?
I bought these in September and they are ok, but not as thick as you might think and certainly not “luxury spa” worthy. The ribs are about as thick as a regular towel and in-between they are quite thin. They have a unique appearance so if you need towels more for show this is the one. If you want a thick absorbent towel look elsewhere.

After the first wash, both bath towels and two hand towels frayed on the edges from one end to the other. I washed them on ‘Normal’ setting, cold and washed them all alone. Then placed them in the dryer on LOW heat for 30 min. I was surprised to see these towels fall apart after a gentle washing. I’ll never purchase these towels again.
Let’s dump the term MSRP and call it the “Trump Price.” It’s that much, but you’ll get a price that’s sooooo much better!
I purchased a set of these towels on WOOT as a gift for my wife about a year ago. She is very happy with them for everyday use. No problems with fraying. I asked her if she wanted a second set and she said sure. Just placed my order.
If you need towels, buy these. They won’t disappoint. After 17 yrs of marriage it was time to replace those wedding gift towels. I bought 6 sets (3 taupe, 3 blue) @ $20/set in Nov. 2015 via a Black Friday event on another deal site. The towels are super soft and quite absorbent. Over the 5 months that our family of 6 has been using them, they still look new. No fraying or thinning-and I wash all my towels on heavy-duty cycle in hot water. That’s my $.02.
There are sites for political commentary - let’s leave woot for what it is shopping. We could go all day equating MSRP to Hillary’s promises, but we shouldn’t.
I purchased the ivory and white towels a few months ago. They are quite attractive and have held up well through many washings, including hot h20 & bleach! If I needed more, I would buy more of these.
We bought these on woot and they look nice, but lasted less than six months. They frayed after a few washings and began to lose color in places…and no, we don’t have ANY bleach in the house and washed as directed. Tossed them all out and replaced them with Ikea towels, which have been far, far better. Avoid.
The same thing happened to the ones I bought. I bought two sets and more than half of them look like the ends got put in a shredder.
I too bought these and experienced one frayed edge right out of the bag, and more after the first washing. They are incredibly thin between the ridges, so thin you can see light through them. These have now been relegated to cleaning up spills and dog duty. Would not recommend.
For $26 shipped, you can get 4 bath towels in this style (Threshold textured) at Target, with a much wider range of color choices. Who needs textured hand towels and wash cloths?
I’m very disappointed with the quality. I washed and dried these 3 times to remove the lint which was considerable. Make sure you empty the lint filter mid drying cycle the first time you wash them. The bindings and stitching on these towels are very cheap. The thread came undone on a hand towel and a bath towel after the three washes and the binding was frayed. This is before they’ve ever been used! I was able to repair the bindings. I would have sent them back but I’m having guests in a few days which is why I bought them. I’ve had cheap Cannon towels from Kmart for 3 years that we use every day and the stitching has never come undone.
Definitely not spa towels.
The price listed is what they are worth, not the inflated listed price.
