Time to learn all about thread count

I’m really tempted, but the last time I ordered “Egyptian cotton” from woot it wasn’t. They gave me a $10 refund for the mistake, but now I don’t believe it. Is there some way to prove it this time?

Be aware that high thread count sheets mean a tighter weave so less breathability. They can feel overly hot.

When I ordered an “800TC Egyptian Cotton” sheet set for $10 less on 3/31/15, they weren’t egyptian cotton either. I was only offered a $5 credit which was insulting since they sold the regular cotton sheet set for $10.00 less the same day. Since they couldn’t fulfill the order I paid for, they had to be returned.

With so many negative comments about their experience in NOT getting the Egyptian cotton sheets, I wonder why WOOT is trying to sell these again. Would a rep of Woot be able to answer / vouch for the product this time - so there are no more suckers again?

The weave is a sateen weave and they are single ply.

I own a Tempurpedic mattress that requires “deep” fitted sheets. I’m assuming that these are only standard sized sheets?

As there are a number of different vendors on Woot, I can only speak to my sheets and these are 100% Egyptian Cotton sheets.

These sheets are produced and stringently tested to very high standards. This quality is comparable to sheets that would be purchased at a boutique or department store.

It would depend on the depth of your mattress. These sheets would fit any mattress up to 17" deep.

Holy Sheet!!! You can put this great Woot deal to bed.

I bought these a few time ago and the fitted sheet tore on the side so I sewed it up, then about 7 months later it ripped at where your knees hit the sheet while your sleeping.
They are junk.
