Jim Beam Vacuum Seal Marinade Box

Jim Beam Vacuum Seal Marinade Box

There probably is some value to this tool, but I’m not convinced it would be great.

The reason fajitas and other marinated meat tastes better when it comes pre-seasoned, is that they put it in pressure chambers and push the marinade into the meat under high pressure.

These vacuum chambers supposedly “loosen up the pores” – but you’ll note that physics tells us that there’s no such thing as a sucking force; a plastic bottle collapses when you take the air out of it not because you sucked it, but because of the pressure from the air outside of it (almost 15 pounds per square inch at sea level).
