Note: Synthetic BLEND. It is kind of like when you see a really good price on a large jug of Olive Oil and then in the fine print it is a blend of Canola/Vegetable oil and a bit of Olive Oil mixed in. They often don’t tell you the blend %.
Nonetheless this is probably a pretty good price and probably nothing wrong with using this oil. In fact I’ve heard people say it’s best NOT to switch to pure synthetic in an older engine – though that might be just internet fear and rumor. I switched to pure Synthetic (Mobil 1) for my older Jeeps ('91 and '97) many years ago with no problems and very happy with the switch.
