I can’t swear it is the same brand, but I have several versions of this thing already. They all work equally poorly because they all have the same problem. They are designed on the assumption that corn cobs are a uniform diameter. If you have bought much whole ear corn you know this could not be further from the truth. None of the devices (this included) have any way to expand or contract to fit the specific cob. So if you need a bit more disappointment and frustration in your life, or simply don’t care if what you buy works like pictured, then jump on it.
