I bought one of these back in the summer for about the same price. I do not recommend this product at all. You have to tether it to your cell phone and the only way to get it to function easily and conveniently is if you give it access to your location at all times!! If you don’t allow the app to have unlimited access to your location data then you have to open up the app on your phone each time you get in the car and make sure that it connects to the correct network. And the app also will badger you relentlessly to grant it these privileges if you don’t. And I haven’t even gotten to the fact that you can’t download the recordings from the app to your device or to your cloud! I have no idea why it has almost 5 stars on Amazon other than the fact that a lot of people don’t value their privacy at all. But my advice is a hard no.
