I would advise passing. This is not your dad’s Craftsman socket set. That set was made in USA. This set is made in China. The China Craftsman stuff is mostly junk, poorly made and not very durable.
Taiwan-made Craftsman is okay. But that’s not what this is. I’d buy a Harbor Freight socket set instead.
Does the 10mm socket come pre-lost?
I have seen at least three of this style of craftsman socket wrench with a failed ratchet mechanism, two of them this size (3/8) and one of them a 1/2" socket wrench. One of them was quite old. I have never regarded this particular craftsman product highly due to their rather coarse ratchet action even when they’re working properly, but at this point I would be far more likely to trust my knuckles to a modern Harbor Freight socket wrench than one of these. Craftsman 6-point sockets are decent, no complaints there.
