What’s the weight and does it just plug into a normal outlet and it’s ready to go? Apartment-friendly?

I just got an electric fireplace from Lowe’s after shopping around a lot. I recommend looking at some in person since some are make of pretty crummy materials. Also, check out the cord and make sure it’s nice and thick gage. There have been reports of some of these types of fireplaces having cheaper, thinner cords and being fire hazards.
I know that the fireplaces are sold out, but what was the selling price?
