Not immediately obvious what “liquid disinfectants” can be used - anything alcohol-based will evaporate or absorb airborne moisture quite quickly. With most other liquids (think twice about anything with chlorine) you probably want a second mat to avoid liquid footprints onto your carpets, or wet shoe soles onto tile… I’ve seen some hospitals use these very successfully, often with a second “sticky” pad; they DO take regular maintenance to stay functional.
Personally, “shoes off” (and maybe some sanitary wipes) at the door works for me…
Seems easier to just douche your shoes with lysol.
Fabuloso is the only way to go.
