only a 90 day woot warranty on a new item?

whats the reason behind that? although I can’t find this exact card on the PNY website, every other MicroSD card they sell has a limited lifetime warranty, except the HP branded cards which have a 2 year warranty. why are the cards sold on woot only getting a 3 month warranty?
