More discussion and answers from the manufacturer Here

Don’t you believe it! I bought these last time, and am sorry I wasted my money. They feel soft/smooth in the package, then they feel like rough canvass after washing. They’re also hot and scratchy. Never again will I fall for the “Egyptian Cotton” sheet BS. :(. Save your money. Egyptian Cotton, or thread count, means nothing. Personally I’ll never buy anything other than Pima again. I’ve got an older set of Pima Kohl’s “luxury” sheets that are 600 thread count, and are better than anything I’ve seen on Woot.

These are absolutely awful. They felt okay after the first wash, but in less than a month they were pilling everywhere and were itchy on top of that.

I am with the manufacturer and will be able to answer any questions you have.

We stand behind our product. Please send me a Direct message and we will make this right.

Higher thread count does not mean good quality. You can only go so high on the thread until you are using inferior cotton. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/11/04/thread-count-does-not-matter_n_6121180.html

Egyptian cotton is fine, the best sheets I’ve ever had have been Egyptian cotton. The problem is the thread count. You can’t go higher than 600 TC on single ply without sacrificing on the quality of the thread; that’s why your Kohl’s sheets are great.

The best sheets I’ve ever owned were Egyptian cotton 400 TC. 400-600 TC is the sweet spot for single ply.

Are these the same ones offered last Feb? They were 800 tc sateen but thick.

These sheets were not offered last February.

They are a different production run.

Bought 2 sets of these earlier this year and within a couple months one of the flat sheets had a rip in it. I imagine it was a manufacturer defect but don’t expect Woot to fix your problem! Buyer beware!

Bamboo sheets seem a better quality and softness.

Send me a DM with the details of your order. If they were our sheets, we will make it right.

Bummer. I love them. Would these be similar like just a different edging or different product completely?

I bought a set last time, and couldn’t be happier. Great sheets and this time 10 bucks less.

Thanks Woot!

Do I or don’t I? The mixed reviews are keeping me from hitting the button

anyone else giggle when you say ‘double hole’?

Same construction of the product, but the finish and the decorative hole hem is different.

They should feel and perform very similarly.

If I buy and find they are rough and canvas like, you will assist with the return?
Thank You
