Is this open box or refurbished? Why such a steep discount?
Hi there, this item is new with a 5 year warranty.

Is this system completely wireless or just the subwoofer?

We have this set (from a different retailer). They sound better than much larger speakers, even on a cheap amp. On a decent one, they’re incredible.
What a/v does this support?
Sub: 2.4 GHz CD-quality wireless & Line level / LFE RCA jacks
Speakers: 14-18 gauge speaker wire
There does seem to be something odd going on here. I guess the huge price drop could be due to market correction or just due to new models coming out or something, but this set is also going at $100 cheaper or close to from highly ranked eBay sellers.

Looks like the steep discount is a straight up lie, that is not the normal MSRP

That original price was when it first came out if I recall over 5yrs ago. Anyway, if you have a Costco account then there is a better deal there for online only.
I was wondering about the price on these. Woot sometimes makes it seems like a good deal when it really is not. Buyer beware.
