This seems like a great deal, am I missing something?
I was hoping someone could explain in kiddie terms just what this router does? You have to have a computer? Internet and WiFi? Does it work just using it for wi fi on your phone?
A router takes the data/internet from your incoming modem from an internet provider and makes that service available over Wi-Fi - the air. You can then use internet on wireless devices instead of having to plug a cable into your modem.
