The dents make the pressure better.
The prices vary online with other retailers so kind of hard to tell how good this deal is so i think but I could be wrong. I have to say though my prior pressure cooker had a dent when I received it, I did not order it that way but it came that way I kept it anyhow and it did not affect it at all besides looking ugly. It still did a great job! 
This can’t hve a dent on the outside. The shell is heavy plastic. The only “dent” can be on the innder pot which is metal
I have one of these. They work well, but like all Ninja products, they are GIANORMOUS and HEAVY
Make pressure better? How? Abrupt fragmentation? Ceiling will need spackle.
